Plot Outline: When God appears to an assistant grocery manager as a good natured old man, the Almighty selects him as his messenger for the modern world.
Plot: Jerry, a assistant grocery manager (John Denver) is approached by God to help spread his message. Reluctant at first, Jerry finally ends up in a court case involving the slander of a popular evangelist.
